How to get to the Lecrin Valley from Malaga airport?

• From Malaga airport take directions Malaga (N340)
• Then direction Antequera (N331)
• On this motorway take directions Granada (A359) after 54 kilometres it becomes the A92
• Before you reach Granada take the exit 230 "Sierra Nevada/Granada/Santa Fe"
• Take direction Motril at the circular road (circumvalacion), A44
• On this motorway (after about 35 km) you take turning 160 "Lecrin/El Valle" or 157 "Nigüelas/Durcal" depending on which house you are staying in. You will receive a detailed route description, to the house, with your reservation.
• Total kilometres about 165 (1:40 minutes) from Malaga airport

You can also take the coastal route direction Motril (20 minutes faster), but this route only has a motorway up until Nerja (about 1 hour from the Valle de Lercin). After Nerja it's a 2-lane road with many bends. This road is not recommended to be taken at night-time.
