Golf in the province of GranadaLos Moriscos golf club MotrilThe course lies on the shores of the Mediterranean and is strategically located right in the heart of Granada 's Costa Tropical. It is a level course dotted with pine trees. Overall, not particularly difficult, except where lakes come into play. In an unbelievable setting, you play a game of golf and you will thoroughly enjoy the contrast provided by the views of the sea and the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Your family can enjoy the beach while you play golf. The 18 hole golf course, designed by Ibergolf Manuel Pinero, is just 10 meters from the sea. It is a par 72. Facilities: At the golf club you can find "Restaurant Los Mariscos" at the beach front, a club bar, changing rooms, driving range, golf club hire, cart hire, trolley hire, Pro shop, golf lessons given by professionals, putting and pitching greens. Directions: From Salobreña, drive East along the N340 to the Granada exit. Take this exit and turn right. After about 50 metres turn right again and follow the golf signs. From Granada, follow the A44 down towards Motril/Salobrena. When the A44 meets the N340, follow playa Granada and the golf signs. Santa Clara golf club OturaThe course lies on the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range only 10 minutes away from the fabulous city of Granada and 25 minutes off the Costa Tropical of Granada. Overall, not particularly difficult, except where lakes come into play. In an unbelievable setting, you play a game of golf and you will thoroughly enjoy the contrast provided by the views of the sea and the Sierra Nevada mountain range. The 18 hole golf course designed by Enrique Canales Bousquet. It is a par 72. Facilities: Putting and pitching greens, driving range, bar-restaurant, golf cart hire, changing rooms, golf club rentals, Pro shop, golf school, swimming pools, spa, wellness centre and paddle tennis court. Directions: From Granada city, drive down the motorway A44 and take the exit 139 Otura/La Malaha. Follow the signs to Otura/Dilar and after that Santa Clara golf. Granada club de Golf Las GabiasThis course is very close to Granada and offers excellent views of the Sierra Nevada mountains . The course is fairly flat and hence not too difficult. The 15th hole is complicated because the fairway gets more narrow as it progresses. The green has three platforms and the positioning of the flag is also tricky. The 17th hole can also be difficult, especially teeing off. Your family can enjoy a day out in the city while you play golf. The 18 hole golf course designed by Ramón Espinosa and Emilio Mena Muñoz is a par 72. Directions: From Granada take the road to Armilla/exit 131. In the centre you will find a sign to the left, club de golf. Follow this road until you reach the golf course. Avenida de los Cosarios s/n Las Gabias. La Medina golf clubThis new golf course is situated in a very beautiful area. Near by the reservoir “Las Cubillas” Park Medina Elvira can be reached within 15 minutes from the city Granada. This 18 holes golf course has all the amenities you can wish for. Facilities: Club house shopping centre, Spa, pool, hotel, restaurant, bar. This park also holds an International School and numerous sports facilities for your children. Directions:Take the motorway A44 direction Granada. At the Granada circular road, head north direction Madrid.. Take the exit 116, direction Calicasas, El Chaparral, Colomera. Turn right direction Las Cubillas. Take a left direction Lugar del Pantano del Cubillas and you will find the golf course on the right hand side. The club house is to your left.
