The province of Granada is well known for the cultivation of citrus-, olive- and almond trees. This green oasis creates a peaceful environment of undisturbed nature with its colourful diversity of oranges, lemons, mandarins and olives. Small streams and irrigation channels flow gently through the valleys and end up in the "embalse" reservoir. Fishing is possible at these reservoirs. The turbulent history of the province has lead to a variety of Moorish and Roman influences.
